Ashley and Lucas - THE ENDING

 Ashely and Lucas both knew they couldn't function alone
Because they both spent their lives feeling torn

Regret flowed like blood in their hearts
They knew they couldn't live apart

One night they both were lying and looking at the sky and stars and reminiscing
The blue moon was passionate and glistening

It appears every 2 and half years
To wipe all griefs and tears

Just then, something clicked In them
When they saw the moons white and blue colours blend

They knew they were different as the moons colours
But when together, a different form of beauty was uncovered

A love so pure and honest
That even the gods ever astonished

They knew they belonged together
Even though they had to go through some trouble.

That's when Ashley came across this island called Eurybia
When she stepped on it all she felt was euphoria

She immediately set course for Lucas
She knew it was perfect for his trust

It didn't matter if she wanted to see places
All she wanted was to get lost in his eyes and run mazes

She could find the world in him
She didn't need any exterior medicine

And just like that in the middle of the night she sailed into the moonlight
Back towards the person that made her ignite

While Lucas saw the moon, all he wanted was
Ashley by his side, so that he wasn't a lonely lost cause

He knew he was incomplete like the night without the stars
He felt lonely and paranoid without Ashley in his arms

She was his courage, his strength
And The only that made him trust himself again

He didn't want to lose her Ever
Even he had to explore forever

Her love overshadowed his insecurities
And made him a person who loved, kindly and lovingly

Just then he decided to build a boat
And find his his love, his life support

Little did he know that Ashley was halfway there to unite
At sunrise, he came running to the beach to look for love he just might find

There he could see a boat in the distance
And the girl who was the reasons or his existence

Ashley could see the man she loved on the beach
And all she wanted was fall into the arms of the love she waited for to meet

There was a slight cool breeze starting to blow as the sun rose
To celebrate the two lovers getting close

The sky turning orange and pink
As to symbolise the bonding link

The boat finally reached the beach
They both couldn't believe that they were in each other's reach

She got down from the boat and ran into his arms

The looked in each other's eyes
And amends were made to broken ties

One passionate kiss
Drowning into each other's bliss

The knew how much they wanted this
Even if they had to make some sacrifices

Ashley said "I found this island called Eurybia, Lucas"
"I just want to be with you" Lucas confessed

"We can stay six months at Eurybia and travel the rest" suggested Ashley
Lucas agreed and hugged her passionately

Ashley said "I'm sorry for leaving you, it's the worst thing I ever did"
Lucas said "without you, all I ever did was half-heartedly live"

"Let's put the past in the past and be with each other" said Ashley
Lucas said "love, all I ever wanted was to be yours forever"

"Lucas, you bring me home" Ashley said
"And you bring me new hope" Lucas said

"I love you forever" started Ashley
"And ever and ever" completed Lucas

And just during that sunrise
We saw the greatest love's flames ignit

Soon Ashley and Lucas sailed to Eurybia
To feel peace and euphoria

And now they both were once again
A silhouette in the sunrise without any sort of pain

This is the story of Ashley and Lucas
Two people who found it very hard to trust

But when they found one another
They decided to be each other's forever

We all know about the term “racism”, we all have experienced it at some point in time, haven’t we? Sometimes intentionally or unintentionally, people discriminate against us on our origin, skin color, etc. At a point in time, I was obsessed with being fair & trust me it sucked. Everything was supposed to be about fairness; I only considered people beautiful if they were fair. Then slowly, I realized that skin color has nothing to do with being beautiful, beauty lies in different places for everyone. Nonetheless, we tend to promote "White supremacy". Why? because we have been living in a society where being fair is everything, without even realizing we promote "White supremacy”, we should stop and think about how our actions affect the people around us.
