THE WAY WE SEE THINGS FT. ANUSHRI TEWARI

                       THE WAY WE SEE THINGS

Have you ever thought that why “d” is not spelled like ‘o’ and why not 'o' spelled like ‘g’ ?

We are taught to see things in a certain way from beginning of the time.

We feel some things are extraordinary even when they are not.

When we see an older girl marrying a younger boy, we feel weird even when you support them; at the back of your mind, you still feel uncomfortable and unreal. We also feel weird by seeing others who have different sexualities, but  when we see two straight people together we don’t feel uncanny.

There is nothing wrong in feeling uncanny or weird . it’s the way that the people around us shaped our mind and we see things as abnormal even when they are not. but what is wrong  is when you insult them and don’t accept them for who they are.

This needs to be changed.

The upcoming generation’s mind shouldn’t see correct things as wrong

They need to understand "sab rab ke bande" - all are god’s people and accept them for who they are.

Ashley and Lucas - THE MEETING

Ashley was sitting on a rock peacefully In a blue dress with a bouquet of lilies The god she loved, found his mistress  To be the one to help him in distress  So he gave Ash a bouquet of lilies To bid her goodbye She wished him luck and happiness And they parted their ways with no bitterness Now she sat there, content Devouring each feature of nature to all its extent  Somehow everything was grey The mist that hung over the beach astray The ocean that advanced towards her feet Grey with white foams, receded back in retreat  The grey clouds stretched till the horizon As pleasant as comfortable silence The grey weather was melancholic And the pine scent was exotic  She was staring blankly towards the sea She does that a lot lately The waves crashing towards the shore Made her want to go out there to explore She saw someone walking down the beach Though far away, he was a god from Greece  Walked towards her barefoot As though was there just to allude...

Racial Discrimination and Beauty standards Ft. Anushri Tewari

We all know about the term “racism”, we all have experienced it at some point in time, haven’t we? Sometimes intentionally or unintentionally, people discriminate against us on our origin, skin color, etc. At a point in time, I was obsessed with being fair & trust me it sucked. Everything was supposed to be about fairness; I only considered people beautiful if they were fair. Then slowly, I realized that skin color has nothing to do with being beautiful, beauty lies in different places for everyone. Nonetheless, we tend to promote "White supremacy". Why? because we have been living in a society where being fair is everything, without even realizing we promote "White supremacy”, we should stop and think about how our actions affect the people around us. Black or Asians or Indians or Russians, everyone has been discriminated at least once, for eg in India people discriminate their own people more than other country’s...for what? just because they’re dark-skinned or bel...

WHAT A BOOK CAN TEACH FT. VARANYA YADAV

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes M any a times, I feel like I’m losing control over things - over my work, my social life, my state of mind. This is when I sit back and look at my life from a different perspective. To help gain this perspective, I read books. Some people may prefer to watch movies or listen to songs. It was around such a phase that I happened to read me before you. To be honest, I didn’t know anything about the book, about the author, I didn’t even buy it. This book affected me in ways I didn’t think were possible. As I read the story of Louisa Clark and the turn of events of life I got to know that I am one of the fortunate ones. I have a decent lifestyle and enough money and awesome friends. When Lou met Will, a quadriplegic, her life changed a lot, she discovered a whole new part of herself, something that she thought had been missing.Thought the first few months were very hard and Lou thought that she wasn’t going to succeed, with time she got more comfortable around wi...
